Yana Dimitrova

Yana Dimitrova (M.F.A., painting, 2009; B.F.A., painting, 2006) is a Brooklyn-based artist whose paintings and installations focus on concepts of space — physical, digital and conceptual — as it relates to the human condition. Dimitrova has been a part of various national and international exhibitions at Aronson Gallery, New York, New York; The Rockefeller Brothers Fund, New York; w-a-l-k-e, Brusels, Belgium; OAZO in Amsterdam, The Netherlands; Gallery Twenty-Four Berlin, Germany; NXNW in Manchester, UK; Sofia City Gallery Museum and Credo Bonum in Sofia, Bulgaria; and at Field Projects, Flux Factory, NARS Foundation and Miyako Yoshinaga Art Prospects in New York, among others. Her work has been included in several art shows including SCOPE. Dimitrova is also part-time faculty at Parsons The New School for Design, New York.
