Born in Gloversville, NY, William M. Ruller (M.F.A., painting, 2013) has worked as a production potter and ceramics instructor, teaching for the College of Charleston and Savannah College of Art and Design in Lacoste France. While in Lacoste, Ruller sketched and reinterpret the villages of the Luberon Valley, creating large-scale works on paper that incorporates traditional and non-traditional materials. Ruller has exhibited nationally in numerous group and solo exhibitions. He currently resides in Upstate New York.
