After studying Graphic Design at SCAD and working as a Graphic Designer, Art Director, and Creative Director for 15 years, Veronica was pulled to reconnect with what brought her to design years ago — her love of fine art. Veronica's work is inspired by her Southern roots. She explores themes of modern and traditional Southern culture, society, and environment. Most of her works are connected by an aesthetic coined “pretty gritty,” visually pleasing subject matter contrasted with rougher textures and techniques. A portion of the sale of Veronica's work will benefit the Coastal Conservation League, a nonprofit in the Charleston, SC area that works to protect the natural landscapes, abundant wildlife, clean water, and quality of life in South Carolina.
