Tiffany Sage

Brooklyn, NY
Born in Florida in 1979, Tiffany Sage (B.F.A., photography, 2005), is one of few painters of her modern generation to work in photorealism. With unexpected turns of humor and intimacy, she explores and combines traditional motifs of photography — portraiture and still life — into her meticulously hand-painted works. Sage’s signature photorealistic approach includes a central theme of portraiture with masks. Her work has been exhibited throughout the U.S., including a recent group exhibition, “Lions, Tigers and Bears,” at The Vendue Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina. Sage’s photography has appeared in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, W, InStyle, Elle, Forbes, New York Magazine, and Architectural Digest, among other publications.
