Steven Martin (M.A., graphic design, 2009; B.F.A., painting, 2001) is a full-time tattoo artist, graphic designer, screen-printer and easel painter based in Philadelphia, PA. He has lived in a few cities on the Eastern seaboard and travels to various cities across the U.S. and Europe for work. Martin seeks out striking impressions of nature and the manmade; play of contrasts of light, color and space; the clashing of the stark and rigid against the soft and inevitable make for great subjects and compositions.
