Ryan Mitchell has had a passion for the visual arts since he was a child. Upon growing that passion, he decided to try an alternate path and enlist in the United States Marine Corps. He served in the infantry rising up to the rank of Corporal and deploying twice on noncombative deployments that entailed training other militaries of various countries and peace keeping operations. After serving honorably for four years, he decided to get back on track to continue his avidity and hone on narrowing down his niche to Photography and the Film arts. He earned a B.F.A. in Film and Television and minor in Photography from SCAD in 2021. His work has been published in various online publications such as Undivided Magazine and Toy Photographers Publication; as well as gallery exhibits in Atlanta Photography Group, Joe Center for the Arts, and SCAD Open Studio.
