Naimar Ramírez is a multidisciplinary artist who lives and works in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She received her B.A. in environmental design and photography from the University of Puerto Rico, and her M.F.A. in photography from SCAD in 2013. Ramírez has had solo exhibitions in the Savannah, GA, and Puerto Rico. Institutional exhibitions of her work have taken place at the SCAD Museum of Art, Savannah, GA, and the Museum of Art of Puerto Rico, San Juan, PR. She is the 2018 recipient of the Pollack Krasner Foundation Fellowship for Artists Affected by Natural Disaster, and the Lexus Grant for Artists in 2016. Ramírez completed a residency at Byrdcliffe Woodstock Guild’s Artist Residence Program in Woodstock, NY, in 2018.
