Melissa Hagerty (B.F.A., illustration, 2010), also artistically known as MothaBug, is a painter, illustrator, mixed media, installation and performance artist currently based out of Maui, Hawaii. Her work teaches sustainability and the deepening our human connection to the natural world and each other. She has exhibited extensively throughout the U.S. and France and completed the SCAD Lacoste Alumni Atelier ambassadorship in 2016.
