Juliana Lupacchino (B.F.A., fibers, 2017) explores materials and pattern development through large-scale installations and murals. Lupacchino is passionate about exploring the way colors interact with various shapes and lines around her paintings. Her patterns are colorful, abstract and organic, and her line work and use of color evokes a sense of adventure, while the childlike nature of the shapes brings about a sense of freedom. Whatever she is creating, it is important that the audience gain a feeling of joy when viewing Lupacchino’s work.
