As an artist and athlete, Jon Moody (M.A., painting, 2015; B.F.A., visual effects, 2014) uses his abilities to provoke thought while aiming to break the myth that one is either an athlete or an artist. Boasting nearly 30,000 Instagram followers, Moody is having a true impact reaching others and raising awareness for social, economic, and global issues through his art. Moody's evocative and vibrant paintings have been praised by "Empire" co-creator Lee Daniels; commissioned by Lil Wayne, Future and Trey Songz; and appeared in the East Room of the White House. Moody's goal is to inspire not only other athletes, but all people to become global ambassadors for change. He lives and works in New Orleans, Louisiana.
