Jaylon Smith (B.F.A., Commercial Photography, 2019) is an African-American multifaceted mixed-media artist born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. His mixed-media work focuses on depicting humility and cultural beauty in minorities. Immensely inspired by Abstract Expressionism and Pop-Art, Jaylon seamlessly fuses digitally altered photographs to submerge the viewer's eyes throughout the composition. Each segment of his artwork strives to enhance the history of empowerment and cultural dignity. His keen eye for creativity has caught the eyes of world-renowned celebrities like Jamie Foxx, J Young MDK, Lecrae, Bryson Tiller, Jhene Aiko, Marques Colston, Wanda Durant, and Deloris Jordan. Also, his artworks were exhibited at SCAD Atlanta and Savannah Open Studio, Mason Fine Art, and Buckhead Art & Company. In addition to his mixed-media work, Jaylon founded Huein Studios, an award-winning multicultural creative agency that assists brands and organizations with creating authentic campaigns that focus on diversity and inclusion.
