Gabriel Lovejoy (M.F.A., painting, 2015) is an artist, educator and graphic designer. The open narrative that is present in his paintings pushes the concept of ambiguity while being visually grounded with a sound sense of design. He juxtaposes contrasting elements and styles to enhance a complex view of the union between the real and perceived. Gabriel currently lives in Savannah, Georgia with his wife and two children where he works at SCAD as a professor of foundation studies.
