Franklin Delgado

Franklin Delgado (M.F.A., painting, 2016), a native of Tegucigalpa, Honduras, lives and works in Savannah. Delgado's work is born from observation, engaged thinking and foundation, and  depicts the world based on meticulous observation of contemporary life and nature. His portraits and landscapes present three-dimensional spaces and forms on a two-dimensional plane with precise, almost photographic detail. He has received numerous grants and awards, and has exhibited domestically and internationally, including at the S. Tucker Cooke Gallery, University of North Carolina-Asheville; Collins Art Gallery, Grand Rapids Community College, Michigan; the Davenport House Museum, Savannah, Georgia; and more.
