Conrad Maxwell-Girod (B.F.A., photography, 2020) is a West Indian-American multidisciplinary artist based in Atlanta, Georgia. Incorporating his background in portraiture, he creates work that focuses on beauty, fashion, and the human condition. In some of his more experimental projects he integrates surrealism, inspired by film and other forms of media such as rock ’n’ roll and anime and manga. Maxwell-Girod’s work has been featured in publications such as SCAN magazine, PSA Journal, New York Magazine/The Cut, and i-D Vice. He has exhibited work at SCAD Open Studio and at the South x Southeast PhotoGallery in Molena, Georgia.
